If I start to install, it tooks long time, then I see the bad word "error "on my installation screen.
That's all :-(
What can I do/ where can I have a look for solving my problem ?
Bernd
You download and install or install through the Joomla list ?
Max, ChronoForms developer
ChronoMyAdmin: Database administration within Joomla, no phpMyAdmin needed.
ChronoMails simplifies Joomla email: newsletters, logging, and custom templates.
I tried upload via dragndrop and also joomla webinstall ... same problem both ... maybe php script run timeout or something like this ?
Please set your error reporting to maximum in Joomla global config then try again, what do you get ?

I changed the setting ... but I only get "error"
:-(
Also I acivated php-loggging ... there is no error in that log :-(
I mean the Joomla global config, there is a setting for error reporting, can you set it to maximum ?

Yes, I changed it to maximum (also to developer), I just get the word "error" in a red frame above the draginzone ...
Hello BeHoh,
I feel one of these could be your problem:
Check for permission on your tmp folder in your Joomla root... Or check the path for the tmp folder in your configration.php maybe that could be a problem. the tmp folder should have at least a 755 permission..
Hi Ronn,
I checked it. The folder has 755. As I can see, the chronoform-zip is uploaded correct and then a tmp-folder is created in that tmp folder with all the files which are in the zip....
but than the ugly "error" appears ;-)
Bernd
Are you using cPanel or some other in your hosting management ?
Hmm, i don't know that. My domain is hosted at DF.eu Can I see somehow if it has cPanel ?
Okay.
Check if you have a file lock enabled. Because error could be when your system cannot write files or modify them..
No, I haven't lock files ... but if so, must I then have entries in log files somehow ?
The chronoforms7-folder is created under the components ...
btw: I just tried it with 7.0.6 version ... same problem. but Under components i have now a cf7-menuentry. If I klick I got this:
Warning: require_once(/.../plugins/system/chronog3_plg/chronog3/g3_loader.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in/kunden/.../administrator/components/com_chronoforms7/chronoforms7.phpon line11Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/.../plugins/system/chronog3_plg/chronog3/g3_loader.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in/.../administrator/components/com_chronoforms7/chronoforms7.phpon line11
So I dezipped the zip at my computer ... went to the chronog3_plg.zip and installed it manual ... now the menu entry doesnt show errors and the chronoforms mainscreen comes up ...
but I somehow hav not the best feeling it works now ;-) I try it ...
