Release

Well, "hello World".

Question is, when we can expecting the Release?

I don't have problem with Licence, will donate, but I need Release.

You don't need more feature (yes of course but later as next Release)
but stable Release.

Hi Dupor,

the BETA release comes for users to test and find the bugs I couldn't find myself, so please support the project by downloading the new release and work with it and post here any problems/comments you may have!

Cheers

Well I have Foms V2.5 J1.5 RC3.1 on one site in action.
and mail is sended but table data are not filled. but it's not a problem, I didn't have time to go through forum.
and I'm missing UTF-8 support. (admin pages are not showed in utf-8, but I guess you know this.)

so I have thought that I look for a new version.

I have downloaded ChronoForms V3.0 J1.5 BETA 1
and I see files are still not UTF-8
O.K.

I didn't find "what's new" or different from 2.5 to 3.0.

"ChronoForms for J1.5 is out" Post is from February.
In form Announcements is also not.

so I'm little bit confused. :?

I'm using joomla 1.5.4 German.
and I need öäüß 8) in text, messages, fields, etc.

so until next time
bye

Hi dupor,

we will try to list the new features soon!

I have just finished a series of forms for a German user, and all text was in German including JS alerts/ text queried from DB and fields names also, all was fine on both J1.0.x site and another 1.5 site, it depends on your DB table and the whole site charset encoding!

Cheers

Hi dupor,

I've started to test the new release this morning and it is still very 'beta' and I am having problems getting it to run correctly. Hopefully these are some teething problems that will be worked out very soon.

Hi Max

>it depends on your DB table and the whole site charset encoding!
The whole site is Joomla 1.5 and that should be completely in UTF-8.

Please don't misunderstand me. I appreciate You Work very🤔 You already saved me some hours.
Forms for a J1.5 are still rare. (or were for a two month back)

I want to use this form on my client sites.
but for this I needed something that is stabil and functional "out of a box".
So I could depend on that. I know it's working, I know "OK for this form I need an X hour".

It's not a problem to pay something. You Lincense is OK.
Such a Modul should save me time and work.

-----
Cutoff a nice features from a Release. Bug-Out, Stabilise and than you have a software.
Until then You have only a Beta. I know it's working, but is a BETA - NON productive.

nice features; ask people to vote for a features they need or want - you have that in Forum already; put into next release.

If You adding a new features before You have stabile release, than people have more betas in their hands, and you need always to ask which one they using... etc. again more work for you.

If you look in the future.
make release, and that is last for a J1.0, functional, stabil, it's working!
Your J1.0 users have something.

and concentrate on J1.5
J1.0 will still be alive, but new sites are in J1.5.

I'm writing too much.

It is nice evening in Vienna
got to go

Hi Dupor,

I understand what you mean but the new BETA release comes with fixes for all old issues we have with 2.5 RC3.1 + 2 new main features, the drag and drop form editor and the drag and drop multi email setup, all features are tested ok and I already made many working forms using them, but because the 2 new features are mainly based on JS and may have cross browser issues I couldn't find (actually at the backend editor only and not the frontend form output) then I put this into BETA, anyway, quickly we are finding issues and getting them fixed and soon we will move to BETA 2 then a stable one, just waiting for users to test the editors and send feedbacks, I think I will put the editor here on the site for users to test easily too!

Thanks!
