Hi all,

I installed chronoforms6 on my Joomla website. I'm really a beginner so I tried some demos, like "Repeater area demo" that is what I'm looking for. I'm unable to recreate this demo because (in advancer designer mode) in the tab "setup form actions" I can't see "display form" that was used in the demo. In my panel I only can see "Display layout" that isn't the same function

We are doing some changes and the "Display form" is no more used for building forms, you need to use the "Form area", the demo forms are supposed to be updated.
​
You can also rename the demo form and use it.
​

where I can find the "form area"?

Form Area is found in Design Core -> Areas

Under the Design tab -> Areas
Then in the Setup tab use "Display Layout" set to "sections" and put the name of the section in there. Unless you're using the event-view pairing, then just have your section and your load event have the same name and at the end of the event it will show the section.

So, for a multi page form, I need:
in the Design tab,
put a Form Area in every section, then put inside the Form Area all the fields fo this section
in the Setup tab,
put a "Display Layout" set to "sections" and put the name of the section in there.

Or just we can give the same name to te sections in Design and Setup tabs, and in Design for every section set "auto display view" to on? (ChronoForms6 6.0.27)
It's the same thing? Or are there any differences?

Please apply the new update then create a new form, the new version has a setting to handle multi pages automatically, if you want to convert your existing form to the new mode then I can tell you how, because this is still not yet available!

And for set a filed as required in repeater area there are no changes?

A required field in the repeater will be validated, do you have any problems with this ?

maybe I'm making some mistakes... But if I active required button in field validate in a repeater area it doesn't go to the next page even if I fill the form

No problem, where exactly you had a wrong id please ?

I need to use the same string used for name, with the var of repeated area. If I use an ID like "text01" validation doesn't work.
