Write permissions

Hi,

I am trying to change the message that appears when someone doesn´t fill one of the required fields of my form.
I have changed the validation.js file, but when I upload it to replace the original, an error ocurred. It says that I don´t have writting permissions. I have tried changing the file atributes to 777 but it doesn´t change. What can I do? How can I change the writting permissions for all the chronocontact component? I have tried changing every file but it doesn´t change.

There's nothing special about the ChronoForms files - please contact your ISP to make sure that you have the necessary permissions to write to these folders.

The thing is that the only folder that I can´t change the writting permissions is the com_chronocontact. All other folders I change the persmissions without any problem. what could it be?

try to change it using the file manager at your hosting cPanel!
