Honeypot doesn't work in Joomla 3.8

Hi,
I updated my Joomla to 3.8 yesterday, but after that the honeypot function in my Chronoforms v 5 didn't work.
Any idea why?

displays after submit.

The result is also shown in the attached file.

When I restore the website to Joomla 3.7.5 the honeypot check works.

Yes, that's right. Plugin is activated and article contains the code:

I think so, for now you may try to set the "Action url" to {url:} in the "Display section" settings in v6, or disable the "Relative url" in the "HTML" action in v5.

Sorry, but it made no difference to disable the "relative URL" in the HTML (render form) action.

Once more the exact same problem with honeypot in Chronoforms v 5 occurred after Joomla update to 3.9.6.
Is it a "glitch" again?

Update May 9:
The honeypot protection works now! I restored my website and made a new update of Joomla to 3.9.6. Perhaps a cache problem??? I am much bewildered, but happy that it works again. The honeypot is so much better than the ordinary captcha. I use them both and the forms that uses honeypot receive no spams but the other ones do.
