File extensions are case sensitive for some reason

So I have a form with a file upload that allows jpg, jpeg, and png.

Problem is, it doesn't let people upload JPG, JPEG, or PNG.

SURELY this is an oversight and I shouldn't have to have a list of files that reads jpg,Jpg,jPg,jpG,JPg,JpG,JPG, etc etc etc etc.
