Submit button dissapears when an extra checkbox group is added in Grid Area

Submit button disappears when adding extra fields in CF Grid Area.

Overview

The issue occurs when exceeding the maximum number of designer elements allowed in the form.
Reduce the total number of fields to stay within the element limit, as the front-end will not display content beyond this threshold.

Hi,

I have 6/7 Checkbox Groups in Grid Area. When I have 6 Checkbox Groups then the Submit-button is shown. As soon as I added the 7th Checkbox Group (which is called Roeselare) then the submit-button is gone in the front-end.
In the preview in the back-end it's still there.

Here the front-end without the 7th Checkbox Group and the Submit-button Shown

Here the front-end with the 7th Checkbox Group and the Submit-button Disappears

Submit button dissapears when an extra checkbox group is added in Grid Area image 2

This is the setup:

EDIT/UPDATE: When I delete the 7th Checkbox Group the Submit-button reappears!
I don't think it has to do with the Grid Area but more with the limit of having more than 6 checkbox groups???

Does anyone have an idea why this happens?

Thanks!

Hi SAGO,

I see the submit button now, please add the 7th Checkbox Group so that I can see what happens then.

Hi,

Thanks for taking a look. I just added the 7th Checkbox Group in the last column. it's called ROESELARE.

This the backup-file, just in case you need it:

This is private content

PS: Could you please remove the attachment since I'm not allowed to do it. I first tried to put it in "private content" but it seems to be shown publicaly. I probably added it the wrong way.

Hi,

Just a small update:
When I remove one of the first fields then the button is shown again so it doesn't matter if it's a checkbox group or different kind of field.

I found something else out which is important. When I add more fields, they are not shown either. But if I move the new fields up then they are shown and the last field(s) that were shown before, disappeared.
It seems like there is a maximum of fields that are shown. They are shown in the preview in the backend but not in the front-end.

Maybe this will help solving this mystery.

Hi,

I can't believe I didn't see it before. I was using more than 15 designer elements so that's why it wasn't showing up. I removed a field and it seems to be working.

In all this time I never completely read the text and I never had to use so many fields so that's why I didn't think of it immediately. I thought that the validation was only to remove the credit.

I apologise for my ignorance!

Hi SAGO.

Ah, that makes sense. Max changed the way validation worked recently and I guess that no warning is shown when you go over the limit :-(

Hi,

A warning would be nice so we wouldn't spend time looking for something so obvious :-D
I was so focused on the problem that I thought it was a bug. It won't happen again :-)

Thanks anyway for looking into this.

Cheers
