ChronoForms v8 is now WordPress ready, ChronoMails is out

Import from phpBB

I read on another post or 2 that an import from phpBB was "in the works". I just installed the latest V2 and only CF1 is supported for imports.

Is the phpBB still in process or is there a separate download/add on that is required? I'm in the process of taking over a site that utilizes phpBB (not sure of the version) and I really want to get them off that onto CF. But I'm not manually transfering over the gazillion posts (3200+ topics)!!! 😛

To assist your labors (a little), I just bought a licence (EVERYONE should - $25 for 1 licence is nothing!!!). Thanks for such cool software!

Hi trogladyte,

The fastest way to do this now is to install v1 (can be installed with v2 on the same website), import the phpbb data, then go to v2 and import the v1 data.

Yes, exactly, v2 should get the importer too but it's not ready yet and the way I suggested should work fine.
