Hi,
I use SP Builder page with joomla and when I click on the "Forum" menu the forums and categories do not appear. I looked at the permissions and this seems ok.
On one of my other sites the url to access the forum is: /index.php/forum
In my current site, url is like this: /index.php?option=com_chronoforums&view=board&Itemid=769
Do you think this comes from the url? Or any other settings?
In thanking you,
Fred
Hi Fred,
Could you please post a link to the forum so I can check this ? you can place the link inside private content if you don't want it public
Best regards,
Max

Hi Max,
No my problem is not solved.
I see the forum and catégories only when i'm connected.
If i'm not connected, i see nothing and the message "You do not have enough permissions to access the forums." appared.
I have entered "Allowed" in the "Can access the forums" setting.
I do not know what's going on
Fred
Hi Fred,

Hi Fred,
There is a Joomla bug which affects some sites, in order to fix it you have to open the "Users options" area and save the settings there, once I have done this, the forums permissions worked.
You now need to configure the rest of the permissions, also you have categories under forums, but you should have the forums under the categories instead.
Best regards,
Max
