IPv6 problem

clacap1975 08 Apr, 2016
HI,
I'm testing my new form.
There's a problem sending emails to gmail adresses.
Here's what I can find in the returned mail:

<<< 550-5.7.1 [2001:41d0:52:e00::8] Our system has detected that this message does
<<< 550-5.7.1 not meet IPv6 sending guidelines regarding PTR records and
<<< 550-5.7.1 authentication. Please review
<<< 550-5.7.1 https://support.google.com/mail/?p=ipv6_authentication_error for more
<<< 550 5.7.1 information. c202si3438004wmh.93 - gsmtp
554 5.0.0 Service unavailable

No prob with other email accounts.

What can I do?
Thanks
Claudia

Hi Claudia,

I send emails to Gmail addresses all the time with no problem. It looks as if your site has been flagged as sending bulk emails in some way.

How do you have the email action configured? Please see this FAQ which may help.

HI Bob,
it's the first time for me too.
No problem with Gmail adresses in all other sites in which I use CF
The site is still offline, I'm working on it.
I've sent only some test email to my own email adress.
The email action is configured as my other sites and on other sites it works (I've tried few minutes ago before writing you)
This form has more fields than others but I don't think this can be a problem for sending email.
The debug is ok, the form send 2 emails: one to the site adress and one to who contact me.
I receive both if I don't use my gmail adress otherwise only the one sent to the site adress.
Any suggest?
Thanks
Claudia
