We have upgraded our server to php5 as php3 is becoming deprecated, this breaks chronoforms5’s mysqli connectivity.
With an error of: Could not connect to MySQL. Which also prevents the chronoforms component from working in the administrator.

Has anyone had problems with this or found a solution?

Should be OK - I am running CFv5 on MySQL 5.6 with PHP 5.6.

Is dbtype set to mysqli in the site Configuration file?
