Hi,
I'm going to upgrade a website from joomla 2.5 to jomla 3.
I 'm checking wether or not the components and plugins used are compatibles with both joomla 2.5 and joomla3.
For the time beeing we use Chronoform 4.0 RC 3.5.2.
Is this version compatible with joomla 3?
Do we need to upgrade before? If yes which version would be the best?

But When I look at the download page there is a version for joomla 2.5 and an other for joomla 3.
Does it means that I have to uninstall the current chronoform version, upgrade joomla from 2.5 to 3 and install the chronoform version for joomla3?

Hi Virginie,

I would backup the forms from the 2.5 site, install CFv4 for Joomla! 3 on the Joomla! 3 site, then restore the forms there. You can copy over any existing data tables.

The main differences are to handle changes in the Joomla! code between 2.5 and 3
