member forms

spoolup 21 Jul, 2007
hello, first of all i would like to say, good job on chronoforms.

i have a little question though (i hope it's little🙂)

is there any way i could have, say, a member fill in a form (single or multi page), press submit and then if they want to update something a few dates later, they can come back log in to their account and update the their form?

thank you

Hi Spoolup,

The answer is technically 'Yes' you can. You use ChronoForms 'Create table' to set up a database table to store their responses and then pull the data back from the database to show the entries when they come back.

Unfortunately, at the moment, ChronoForms can't help with the second half of this - getting the data back, so that has to be coded in php in your form html. Not too difficult but not completely trivial either.
