Comments and Read more link integrated into one

johnny 28 Jan, 2009
Hi, wouldn't be great idea that read more link and number of comments link are same thing?

like this.

I remember akocomment had this thing, don't know how they implemented it but i know i used it. Maybe to manually disable read more link in joomla, and add read more link with chronocomments, i see it uses sh404sef configuration, so it might produce exact urls as ordinary joomla read more link?

Post your ideas here

Hi Johnny,

what about the articles with no comments "enabled", did they have the single "read more" link ?

Did you try ChronoMyAdmin for managing your Joomla database tables ?

When i disable Show comment in Blog layout option it shows just Read more default Joomla link, when i enable it it show that link and comments link above. That is working fine. No problems with that, but i stated earlier, would be cool to integrated that somehow. It's cool thing that people see that there are comments in article before entering full article. U know what i am saying? I dont want to disable that option, it can only lower my full article readability. Hear you soon

Hi Johnny,

Sorry for the confusion, my question was about using akocomments, if the "read more" link appears even for articles with no comments ?
