Getting "Invalid function get_magic_quotes_gpc()" after upgrade to PHP 8x

Using ChronoForms 6. After upgrading to PHP 8x, I'm getting a message in Joomla, "Invalid function get_magic_quotes_gpc()." The site will not load, Magic_quotes are off at the server level.. If I comment out the lines in Libraries/cegcore/gcloader.php and Libraries/cegcore2/gcloader.php which contain get_magic_quotes_gpc(), the site will load, but i get an error when I try and open the Component Chronoforms 6.

Thoughts on function get_magic_quotes()?

Hi,

Please see this post where Max said last year that this would be fixed in a new release. Do you have the latest version installed?

Note that CFv6 has not yet been updated to work with PHP v8 :-(
