Hi, anyone who can explain how the country list works? It's the last of the 4 topics I wasn't able to understand. Thanks.

It will add a full list of countries to your dropdown options, what's the problem with this ?

Hi, yes I managed to make it work. I now would like to put a sort of placeholder with the writing "scroll down to select your country", or leave this " scroll down to select your country" line below the field as it is now, but have the default field empty, while not on the default field it says Afghanistan.

You can add an option with empty value to the options list of the field!

Yes thank you. Good solution, although a user will be able to select that empty option and send the form without in fact filling that field. If there is an option to make that empty value unselectable let me know thanks.

make the dropdown required and it will not be acceptable!

This is to me a half solution as anyone can type anything in the empty option and send the form, without actually selecting the country.

how will they "type" ? unless your dropdown has "allow additions" then they must choose a country!

Okay, I understand what the problem is now, I receive a short abbreviation of the country instead of the whole name (see below AU instead of Australia), since this is a form they use quite rarely I hadn't noticed, and thought the users were actually typing that abbreviation.
