Hi all,

I am new here so please go easy on me =)

I have installed Chronoforms (most recent) to Joomla! for a client and I have a simple form set up (http://circuitwellness.com/online-contact-form.html).

Now what I want to have done is be able to put the user's (person who filled out the form) email and name as the reply to: field when the email is sent out. Is this even possible or is my client just going to have to take the email address from the email manually and create a new email with that?

Hi, did you try to add the fields names to the dynamic fields, like the email field name into the "Dynamic from email" field ? you have V3 BETA 2, correct ?

No...sorry I have version 1.5.3.

I tried adding {email} and {name} to their respective fields in the General tab they show up exactly like that in the emails that are sent out.

By all measn try this using Max's instructions

BUT I don't recommend it as some (maybe many) ISPs validate the Form Email domain and if it doesn't match the website domain they may treat the email as spam (or just dump it).

My workaround is to add a ReplyTo link in the email using mailto:user@example.com?subject=xxx
