I've copied a form, made some minor changes to it and changed the table it saves to. I'm trying to simplify the process.
Trouble is it's now reporting a 1054 Error - Unknown column 'field name' in 'field list'
The 'field name' it's reporting isn't supposed to be saved to that table, the table has nowhere for it to go, which is not usually a problem.
The 'Auto Manage the Data Table" is turned OFF
"Auto Save Fields" is turned ON (It does the same when it's turned OFF)
I've tried deleting the Save Data function, clearing browsing data, shutting explorer down and restarting, then remaking the "Save Data".
I've tried deleting the field in question, the error repeats with another field that's not listed in the table.
I've tried returning to the old table, this works fine...
I've deleted the new table and copied the old table and reformed it to what I need (deleting redundant fields), same problem again.
I've tried turning OFF the "Save to Database" in the field options (it's saved to a different table elsewhere).
I've tried screaming at the computer and throwing the mouse across the room, replaced the mouse, smashing the keyboard and plugging an old one in.
I'm considering putting a hole through the monitor next, but I don't have a spare so I thought I'd check here first🙂
I'm reporting it here because I don't believe this should be a problem, but I have been known to be wrong before, I installed the Chronoforms 6 update before doing this work.
