Forums - best way to get into joomla?

Hey,

a client of mine doesnt want anything but joomla, do you guys know any good source to get into joomla? i tried the joomla docs, but they feel lacky to me. most youtube videos i found are mostly either made for users, not devs or 3+ years old...

thx for any hint in advance
