Display state numeral as text

In my list table view I have the columns ID, Location, Date Added, Status, Issue

What I would like to do is display the status (state column in database) as the value of New (instead of 0 or -1). Is there a way to do this?

I figured it out! Spelling. It's easy to misspeeeel a wordr when uyou think at the speed of light.
