Chronocontact doesn´t display in article

Hi there,

I´ve made a really goodlooking form and when testing it on my backend it works wonderfully.

Problem: It doesn´t display in my article.

I´ve used this form: {chronocontact}myformname{/chronocontact}
I´ve already stripped out the
...
in my database.

I have also installed chronoforms v.4.0, when I put there {chronoforms}myformname{/chronoforms} the form displays correctly - but after trying very hard I couldn´t manage to get the form validated on submitting (which was easy with chronocontact).

So please: What do I have to do to make my form visible in my article?

Hi Talkingjazz1,

As far as I know there is no plugin released for ChronoContact. One of the multi-purose show content plugins might work with it though.

Hi Bob,

I had already read that you suggested a multi-purpose-plugin to someone else. I tried - and failed. No way to display the contact-form as described above.

The solution then was very easy:

There ist no need to display the chronocontact-form in an article when you just want to display the contact form. You can manage to "turn on" the form through a normal menu - you just set a link to chronoform there (like you would, otherwise, to an article) and put in THERE the name of your form.

I´d like to suggest that the developers write this "how-to" into a "readme".txt - might help some other people and save time I spent today when trying and trying and trying ;-)

Hi Tia Talkingjazz,

Good idea, I've updated the ChronoForms FAQ and will try to remember to add the same to the ChronoContact one when it gets written.
