Sessions issues for 1.5

Hi,

is the sessions issue for Joomla 1.5 going to be fixed?

I don't want to turn my sessions database off... but I do need image verification.

Can someone update the status??🙂

That's one for Max, I imagine that he's working on but I don't have any idea what the issues are or how hard they are to work around.
