Simple Joomla URL question

rob_hawthorn 09 Oct, 2007
Hi,
This is more of a general Joomla question but when adding a URL redirect link how can you create a URL within Joomla so that it doesn't show up in "Latest News".

I have created a general "Thank you Form Submitted" page which is in a "Section" called "Redirect" (the Category is also "Redirect") thus the "Thank you Form Submitted" page appears in "Latest News" which we obviously only want submitted users to view.

Rob

Hi Rob,

You can change the content item created date to be something very old so it doesn't appear at the latest news, or add whatever items ids you like at the latest news module, or even categories ids and omit the one called "redirect"😉

Cheers
