Hi,

is there a way to update from 2.2 to 2.3,
or will I have to uninstall and install again.

Hi Mario,

I upgraded doing this :

1# extract the v2.3 package.
2#Login to your site through FTP.
3#backup your current com_chronocontact folder under components and administrator/components/
4# overwrite files under components/com_chronocontact/ with similar file names in the package of v2.3 and also add folder called js
5# do the same with administrator/components/com_chronocontact/ you should replace existing files and then add a directory called excelwriter

this should do it but don't forget to have backup of your original files!!!

I updadet already with the instructions Max gave me, on my joomla 1.5 install. I even overwrote the xml file - no problems so far.
Guess you only need the changes in the xml file when installing in 1.5.
But for now I didn`t try editing a form, but the frontend and backend work fine so far.
Ps: I haven`t made any further changes to the xml file, I updated to a nightly but chronoforms was installed already, so I had no problems with my xml file.

where can I download this upgrade package? I search in the Download section, but it's not there.
