Hi there,
We've just built our first CF6 form:
https://www.habibi-interpreting.co.uk/quotes/translation
The form seems to be displayed as a popup window by default.
How to insert it in a page instead?
Example:
http://interpreters.24-7languageservices.com/AddBooking/Addbooking/Create

Look at your Display Section action to make sure you have checked the popup or modal toggle

Thanks healyhatman
The form is now displayed as a page.
How to add a brackground colour or image to a field?
healyhatman
with CSS, or you could try adding a colour class from semantic UI to the field

We will use CSS to colour the forms.

Hi GreyHead,

Thank you for your reply.

We've disabled Debugger and the form is now usable from the
front end.

- However we aren't receiving it as the main recipient. How
to address this issue?

- How to send a copy of the submitted form with a
confirmation message to the sender?

Hi ray,
Please check the settings in the Email action.
You can add a second email action to send a confirmation email to the user - there is a demo contact form in a CFv6 installation that shows this.
To check the email settings you can add a Debugger action after the email actions to see what CF is trying to send. Note that the From Email address should normally match the domain name and be different from the To Email address.

Hi Bob,
Thank you for your reply.
I'm struggling with this stage.
Is there a tutorial or example I could use to get the settings right?

Hi Ray,
There are two main Email addresses:-
+ the From address can usually be left blank when CF will use the address from the Site Admin Email settings, or you can use another address that matches the site domain name
+ the To address can use a hard-coded address that is different from the From address; or you can use a variable address from the form data e.g. {data:email}

Thanks Bob
We'll give it another go.
How to send a copy of the submitted form to the sender?
Can this be done by adding a field to the form or changing the settings?
GreyHead
Hi Ray,
You can change the template of the confirmation email to include some or all of the form data or a message as you like.

Hi Bob,
We've managed to customise the forms and the automated emails to both the recipient and senders.
Many thanks for your time and support.
