Tooltip text problem

Hi all,
I'using the tooltip text of a text field to display hints on how to fill a field.
In the tooltip text I have a link but it is impossile to clik on it because the tooltip disappears on rollout of the circular info icon.
Is there a way to change the beahviour of the tooltip. For example: appear and disappera on click, instead of rollover/rollout?
