Error Message for Required Field

Answer

I have a field that I am collecting in CC6. In CF6 I could do this, but lost in CC6. I want to edit the error message that pops up for a required field if it's not filled in or incorrect. I figured out how to make it required by adding required to the validation rules field.

How can I make a custom error message.

Thanks heaps, found you don't need to do the JS part of the solution, not sure if this is a CC thing or not, but my end solution was to enter the following in the validation rules dialogue:

required:please enter blah blah blah message here.
