Activation Plugin

Is there a separate activation "action" I can install, I can't find a combination that works for the user to be automatically activated in the registration action.

Hi U Can Drive,

No there isn't a separate action. You can probably do it with Custom PHP.

The Auto Activation setting should work correctly provided that is allowed in the site settings.
