hidden fields result in error in field.php line 179

Have just started getting the following error in field.php (path: /libraries/cegcore2/admin/extensions/chronofc/helpers/):

Notice: Undefined index: label in /libraries/cegcore2/admin/extensions/chronofc/helpers/field.php on line 179

Seems only to occur when

$view['type'] == 'field_hidden'

Maybe a recent Joomla update to latest caused it
