Hi, I am having this issue. I made a simple form with one text field and a submit button in order to test this problem. I added the required keyword to the validation tab on the text field configuration tab. When i hit the submit button with no text in the text field the form still submits although it prints the error message and turns red before going to the submit page. The intended behavior would be to not submit the form if any field fails its validation. Can you help me?

Hi Gonzalo,

Do you have the mootools js library loaded on your page ? if yes then it will have to be disabled, either using a setting in the template or by installing a mootools enable/disable plugin.

empty: This field is required??

required or empty should work fine.

The new update should not have the mootools conflict.
