Cant find the Imap mail settings and processing options to allow email posting in this version am I missing something😟 outbound settings appear to default to phpmailer

Hi Shorney,

In v2 Joomla email settings are used, so if you have Joomla set to use phpmailer then the forums will do the same.

Unfortunately the email posting feature has not been added to v2 but its on the todo list.

Ok thanks Like the new layout much sharper thanks think may live without out the email replies for a bit rather than run on V1 , is there any easy was to mod the text in the notification email to inside the body of the new post ?

Unfortunately not yet, other features got priority, hopefully it will be ready soon, but for the reply by email feature the forum will need to have a special email inbox to use.
