I needed to upgrade my client's site and I created a back up of the current forms. I then uninstalled chronoforms and installed the latest version. I clicked on restore form, selected the backup form, but when I went to upload it nothing showed up. It is critical that I get these forms up and working as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.

I tried restoring the forms on my personal site and I have no issues. So, I'm thinking that it's more of a permissions issue. Something to do with the server or something. What folder does the restore forms try to access?

It tries to upload the backup file to 'root'/cache

You can check if this is writable from Help | System Info | Directory Permissions (provided you have Super Admin access).

You can get the files back manually by opening them in a text editor and using copy & paste into a new form; or by backing up and restoring the corresponding records from jos_chrono_contact.

Thanks for the prompt response. All I needed to do was chmod that folder and it worked. Thanks again for all of your help.
