Mambot / Plug :: Fatal Error

Postby nosins on Sun Apr 20, 2008 8:45 am

Hello,

Great product! Unfortunately, I'm encountering a problem with the mambot/plug. If activated, I get the following error on the site:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 54663 bytes) in /..root/plugins/system/sef.php on line 62

Thanks,

Nick.

Hi Nick,

Line 62 of sef.php is a pregreplace on a url as far as I can see so that suggest something has gone astray with your code - perhaps something is generating a very long url - 8Mb or so judging from the error message.

Does the form behave OK without the mambot?

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the reply. We weren't actually using the mambot - we just had it activated as a precursor to having our form prepared. As long as we keep the mambot deactivated, the rest of the site operates fine. We have not yet used a form, so it couldn't be the form (which by the way is your demo form right now anyway :) ).

Thanks again,

Nick.

Hi Nick,

Well that's even weirder, I've not seen this before and have no idea what might be happening. Perhaps Max will have a clue.

Which versions of CF and the mambot are you using?

Hi Nick,

Do you have the "Enable mambots" set to YES in the form page itself ?
